Beginning in Grade 5 and continuing through Grade 8, Cedar Grove Christian Academy’s Middle School program continues to build on the strong foundation begun in the Lower School. At the same time, the program focuses on the unique needs and learning opportunities of pre-teen and teenage students.

CGCA middle school students are challenged academically by more intensive exploration into subject areas. Students also grow through involvement in individual and group projects.

These experiences build independent study skills and teamwork. Leadership capabilities, artistic talents, athletic skills, healthy relationships, and spiritual strength are encouraged and developed through a variety of core programs, extra-curricular activities, special competitions, and ministry opportunities.

The CGCA Middle School’s program goal is to build well-rounded, Christ-like young people. The middle-schoolers are encouraged to set high standards, build self-discipline, and establish the respect for others necessary to successfully face what is ahead.

Let no one despise your youth; but be an example… in speech, in life, in faith, in purity.
